Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday with the aim of cooperating in the fields of training, cybersecurity services, and future technologies through JODDB’s Cyber Academy “Cyber Shield”, in accordance with applicable regulations. The MoU also includes collaboration in organizing cybersecurity and artificial intelligence–based competitions, as well as conducting penetration testing and phishing campaigns.
The MoU was signed on behalf of JODDB by its General Manager Major General (R) Eng. Ayman Ahmad Al-Batran, and on behalf of the Commission by its Chairman, Dr. Muhannad Hijazi.
The signing of this memorandum underscores the importance of mobilizing and integrating national efforts to strengthen the integrity and anti-corruption framework, safeguard the digital infrastructure of government institutions, enhance the cybersecurity ecosystem, and employ artificial intelligence within the frameworks of integrity, good governance, and anti-corruption.
Dr. Hijazi expressed his pleasure at signing the memorandum, which he said holds great significance for the Commission, voicing hope for strengthening cooperation with the Bureau especially in technical and technological fields that the Commission adopts as a core part of its operations.
For his part, Eng. Al-Batran affirmed the Bureau’s readiness to hold training and awareness workshops for Commission employees in areas that enhance and develop their capabilities and skills.
